400+ Women Connecting for a Cure

For 16 years, Washington’s most influential business women have gathered annually to support miracle-making breast cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi’s Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research. This research directly impacts the world-class care delivered to women treated at Lombardi. Today, Lombardi Women’s unique spirit and sense of solidarity have made it one of the largest and most sought-after events in the region. Over $4 million has been raised by Lombardi Women in support of breakthrough research and scientific discoveries at Nina Hyde – research that results in life-saving treatments and compassionate care.

Lombardi Women benefits Georgetown Lombardi’s Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research. At Nina Hyde, dedicated scientists and physicians uncover the biological basis of breast cancer, and work toward its prevention and cure.

About Georgetown Lombardi

Georgetown Lombardi’s breast cancer program is home to nearly 70 breast cancer researchers and clinicians who study breast cancer exclusively. One of just 51 National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer centers in the nation, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center is the only cancer center of its kind in the Washington, DC area.

About Our Safety Measures

All attendees for this event must be fully vaccinated, including booster, against COVID-19 or attest to having a religious or medical exemption. Attendees who attest to having an exemption or who are under the age of 12 will need to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event and provide their negative test results.

COVID-19 is a serious disease, resulting potentially in illness, hospitalization, and even death. Our first priority is the health and safety of our event participants. In the spirit of cura personalis, the University requires that event participants follow certain health and safety measures, which may vary depending on the nature of the event, in order to help protect the health and safety of all participants. While the University is taking steps to mitigate the risks to event participants, the University cannot guarantee a COVID-19 free environment or eliminate the chance of infection and the health risks associated with it. By participating in this event, you assume the risks involved. You may also be required to leave the event, if you fail to follow the required health and safety measures.
